I learned the Basics of Vray for my internship at Big Company, and I created this picture to test it.
Trees come from an existing bundle. Ground surface / grass was done quicly for the test. I used Vray proxies for the trees.

Individual Short Movie
Second grade exercice.
We had to create a short movie of 30 sec - 1 min with 4 - 5 month of work ( with other courses and work to do in the same time ) based on the theme of the Duel.
I wanted to do something big and difficult to do, to improve my skills and force me to go further in my researches.
It was a great challenge, to deal with an open environnement composed of old buildings ( a lot of inspiration from the very over talented artist David Lesperance ), different characters and hardware limitations always too present ; ) .
This work was great for me because I learned a lot by myself to achieve it.
Actually I am not satisfied by the final result, it is too far from what I wanted to show and I failed the visuals effects because of a lack of time. I plan to do it later, when I will get more time and other technologies.

My first animated project at school. We had to chose a sample of a 2D animated movie, about ten seconds, and turn it into 3D.
I took my sample from Disney's Beauty and the Beast because I found this sequence interresting to improve my lighting / shading skills with a kind of toon rendering.
I am responsible for all aspects of this work, except the original concept, of course ... .

Creature From Bobby Chiu
First grade exercice.
We had to create a character from a concept of Bobby Chiu.
I used Particle flow for the first time to create spheres and spawn them on the mesh of the creature to create some random abcesses. The particles melt with the body by using a SSS material, wich smooth the transition between particles and the body.
